Google Translate gives you grammatically correct Modern Standard Arabic. But nobody searches in MSA. It is like writing your English content in Shakespearean English — technically correct but nobody uses those words.

Mistake #3: Ignoring Diacritics

"عباية" and "عبايه" look almost the same but produce different Google results. Many Saudi shoppers use the simpler spelling without diacritics. If you only target one variation, you miss traffic from the other.

Fix: Research both variations of every keyword. Include both naturally in your content. Do not force-stuff them — just make sure both appear at least once on the page.

Mistake #4: Broken Mobile Arabic UX

Arabic text on mobile often overlaps, wraps incorrectly, or becomes unreadable. Buttons misalign. Forms break. Checkout becomes impossible. 78% of Saudi traffic is mobile, so broken Arabic mobile UX means broken sales.

Run this quick audit on your own store right now. Open your website on an iPhone in Arabic mode. Does every element display correctly? Check your navigation menu, product filters, breadcrumbs, add-to-cart buttons, and checkout form.
